Report template

# Your client sees your brand, _not our template._

A white label SEO report is one your agency signs: your logo in the corner, your palette on the charts, your name on the scheduled email. The template underneath is nobody’s business.

In plain terms

## What a white label SEO report is

A white label [SEO report](/glossary/seo-report) is one the client receives under the agency's brand: the agency's logo in the corner, its colours on the charts, its name on the scheduled email. The tool or template underneath is invisible to the client. Most [white label reporting](/glossary/white-label-reporting) is sold as a subscription per client; a Data Studio (formerly [Looker Studio](/glossary/looker-studio)) template is bought once and copied per client.

This template is the SEO report, Search Console and [GA4](/glossary/ga4) read live, delivered as a report you own and brand. Every copy is fully editable in Data Studio's standard editor: replace the logo, apply the theme, rename the pages. Nothing in the copy points back to us unless you leave it there, and the viewer link and the scheduled PDF go out from your own Google account.

* Who opens it
* ### SEO agencies
A branded monthly report per client at a one-time price, instead of a white label rank tracker billed per seat.
* ### Freelance SEO consultants
A deliverable that looks like the consultant's own product, from the first client onwards.
* ### Agencies reselling reporting
Copies are unlimited and each carries its own branding and connections, so ten clients get ten distinct reports.

## 27 pages. These 12 do the work of a white label SEO report.

Each one photographed from the live template, with what it is for and the fields it reads. Every field links to its definition; every page opens in the live report above.

1. Page 1 of 27
### Web overview
The eight headline numbers with their deltas and the device, channel and city splits underneath: the five-second answer to “is this working” that a client should get without scrolling.
Reads: [Total Users](/reference/ga4-fields#totalUsers) · [Sessions](/glossary/sessions) · [Bounce Rate](/glossary/bounce-rate) · [Av. Session Dur.](/glossary/average-session-duration) · [Key Events](/glossary/key-events)
2. Page 2 of 27
### Page content
Every page ranked by views, sessions, bounce and key events with page-path search: where content strategy meets evidence.
Reads: [Page Views](/reference/ga4-fields#screenPageViews) · [Pages / Session](/reference/ga4-fields#screenPageViews) · [Pages / User](/reference/ga4-fields#screenPageViews) · [Avg. Session Dur.](/glossary/average-session-duration) · [Views](/reference/ga4-fields#screenPageViews)
3. Page 3 of 27
### Landing page
Entry points ranked by the traffic they attract and the behaviour that follows, plotted over time. The bridge between a ranking on the search side and an outcome on the traffic side.
Reads: [Sessions](/glossary/sessions) · [Views](/reference/ga4-fields#screenPageViews) · [Bounce rate](/glossary/bounce-rate) · [Key events](/glossary/key-events) · [Landing page](/glossary/landing-page)
4. Page 7 of 27
### Conversions
Every key event counted and trended, with its rate and the revenue attached, broken out by device, channel and location. The section a retainer conversation ends on.
Reads: [Key Events](/glossary/key-events) · [Event Count](/glossary/event-count) · [Key Event Rate](/reference/ga4-fields#sessionKeyEventRate) · [Total Revenue](/reference/ga4-fields#totalRevenue) · [Event name](/reference/ga4-fields#eventName)
5. Page 9 of 27
### Channels
Direct, organic, paid, referral and social in one table with users, key events and revenue per channel, and the organic versus paid area chart an SEO report opens with.
Reads: [Total users](/reference/ga4-fields#totalUsers) · [Sessions](/glossary/sessions) · [Bounce rate](/glossary/bounce-rate) · [Key events](/glossary/key-events) · [Session key event rate](/reference/ga4-fields#sessionKeyEventRate)
6. Page 10 of 27
### Organic
Organic pulled out of the channel mix and measured on its own terms, filterable down to a single page path. What the SEO work produced, separated from everything it shares the site with.
Reads: [Total Users](/reference/ga4-fields#totalUsers) · [Sessions](/glossary/sessions) · [Bounce Rate](/glossary/bounce-rate) · [Av. Session Dur.](/glossary/average-session-duration) · [Key events](/glossary/key-events)

### Growth timeline
Twelve months of the traffic side with the best day, week, month and quarter picked out automatically. The long view a renewal conversation opens with, before the search timeline seven pages later shows whether visibility moved first.

8. Page 15 of 27
### Search overview
Impressions, clicks, tracked keywords, site CTR and average position from Search Console: how Google sees the site, next to what visitors did about it.

9. Page 16 of 27
### Brand vs generic
Branded queries split from generic demand, each with its own keywords, CTR and position and a written interpretation of the trend. If most organic traffic is branded, SEO is not doing what the aggregate suggests; this page keeps that honest.

### Keyword analysis
Every query with impressions, clicks, CTR and position, searchable and grouped by length: the working table where individual rankings get investigated.

Setup

## How it connects

You buy once, copy per client, and brand each copy in Data Studio’s standard editor: logo, theme colors, page names. Connections stay per copy: each client’s report reads that client’s Search Console and GA4 through Google’s free native connectors, and the scheduled email goes out from your Google account, under your name.

Setup guides that apply

* [Customizing your Data Studio report template](/support/customizing-your-copy) · Your copy of the Data Studio template is a normal report: change the logo, colors, pages, charts and metrics in the editor, and keep the connections to your data.
* [Share a Data Studio report with clients and schedule email delivery](/support/sharing-and-scheduling) · Share your Data Studio report template with clients through a live viewer link, or schedule a PDF snapshot by email every week or month; both are built into Data Studio.
* [Share Data Studio report access with another email](/support/share-report-access-with-another-email) · How to give a client or colleague viewer access to your Data Studio report template from another Google account, and what to do when they still cannot see the data.

Questions

## Before you ask

Is white labeling an extra tier?

No: every template is fully editable after copying; branding it is standard Data Studio editing, included in the one-time price.

Do you appear anywhere in my copy?

Your copy is yours: remove or replace any element, including any mention of Kodalogic.

Can I use my own domain for the report link?

The link is a Data Studio link on Google's domain, as with every Data Studio report. What carries your brand is everything inside it, and the sender of the scheduled email is your Google account.

Does rebranding survive template updates?

Yes. Your copies are yours and untouched by anything we do later. When we publish an improved version, you decide whether to copy it and brand it again.

Can the client edit the report?

Only if you give edit access. With viewer access they can change the date range and the filters, and nothing else.

Vocabulary

## The terms this report uses

* [White label reporting](/glossary/white-label-reporting)
White label reporting is delivering analytics reports under your own brand, your logo, colors and name, while the underlying tool or template comes from a third party.
* [SEO report](/glossary/seo-report)
An SEO report is a periodic summary of a site’s organic search performance: how visible it was, which queries and pages earned that visibility, and how both changed against the previous period.
* [Smart Interpretations](/glossary/smart-interpretations)
Smart Interpretations is the feature in Kodalogic’s Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio) templates that reads the connected data and writes the analysis as plain-language text inside the report, what changed, where, and what it suggests, instead of leaving the reader alone with the charts.
* [Automated reporting](/glossary/automated-reporting)
Automated reporting is the practice of connecting a report directly to its data sources so it fills and refreshes itself, replacing the manual cycle of exporting data, pasting it into slides and rebuilding charts each period.
* [Brand vs generic keywords](/glossary/brand-vs-generic-keywords)
Brand keywords are searches that include a company’s own name; generic keywords are everything else.
* [Average position](/glossary/average-position)
Average position, also called keyword position, is the mean ranking of a site for a query or page across all the impressions it received in a period, as reported by Google Search Console.
